Rating: - Terrible sound!
Got this TV and thought the video features were great...but the sound was awful - very "tinny" sounding speakers. Sounded like a bad Nextel phone! Could not even add external speakers because there is no audio output jack - only optical digital outputs. We bought this to use in our kitchen, and have no room to hook up a surround system. We don't want that just to watch the news, etc., so the TV went back.

These 19" Toshiba tvs have a very nice picture and a slim look to them. They are very reliable, and one of the best small tvs.

I got this television today and as soon as I turned it on noticed how terrible it sounded. The picture was great, but I couldn't get around the tinny sound that made to tv seem loud no matter how I lowered the volume. I tried manipulating and could not find a decent setting. It's the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. I generally like Toshiba products so I was very disappointed with this television and am sending it back tomorrow morning. I think this tv is fantastic. The order came pretty quick, and it was free delivery, and the quality of the picture is beautiful. I am now forever in love with HDTV, the colors in the picture are just awesome and amazing.
