After much research and internal debate, I decided to go with the older, safer version of the PSP. I had heard a lot about the screen issues on the 3000, so I went with the Daxter pack. I am glad I did. The screen looks great and I have little issue with it. It is light, looks great and plays well. This package, obviously, comes with Daxter. I started playing it and it's a fun game. Rating: - excellent new design and great game along with it.
The design and color was this new PsP are great. I had one of the older ones for a few months before this one, I dropped it once and the door to the games broke open and wouldn't lock shut again. But with this one, if dropped the door won't do that because of it's new design. But other than that, screen is a bit better and brighter, the silver coloring is very nice compared to the black glossy color and you can see every finger print on it, so don't have that problem with the new silver. While i dont like the game really. I love that i can watch videos in peace. I love the clear sound. I just am not really into playing the games.

Approximately nine months after having received this package as a gift, I can say that it has certainly delivered. In terms of hardware, the silver PSP matches nicely parked next to a silver PS2 and has proven surprisingly solid, shaking off a couple of drops. The screen has also gathered only the most minimal "buff" lines on the screen despite never being covered with protectors or the like.
