I've had the SD1000 for a couple of years now and have been very satisfied with its performance. Its small size is particularly convenient for vacations. Solidly constructed, good photographic features and easily transfers images to my computer.

This is a great camera, with high quality pictures and very easy to use functionality. It shoots nice and fast! It's also very compact which makes it easy to carry around in purses and pockets. When I was shopping for cameras, of course, i wanted the best, easiest to use, for the best price. This camera takes excellent photos, and has many great photo options, including selective color! The digital Macro setting for taking close up shots (ex. flowers, bugs, jewelry) is the best ive ever seen on any point and shoot camera.
Great for college kids, or someone just needing a nice point and shoot camera. Highly recommended!
